LMA StoneBreaker™ is a novel device which is much more compact and ergonomic as compared to other current intracorporeal pneumatic lithotripters, but also has the advantage of being much more powerful, generating a contact pressure of 29 bar; this enables better pneumatic fragmentation and removal of stones during percutaneous nephrostolithotomy (PCNL), ureteroscopic stone fragmentation (USF) and vesical stone lithotripsy (VL).
