ProLong Nerve Block Kit
The ProLong Nerve Block Kit combined with a LMA PainCare™ 3000, 3200 or 4200 infusion pump allows a regional nerve block to be prolonged for several days. Each ProLong Nerve Block Kit contains all the components needed to induce a nerve block, plus a catheter and connector for use with the LMA PainCare™ infusion pumps.
ProLong Nerve Block Kits offer the following benefits:
- The 30° bevel needle is easier to advance through tissue without cutting, resulting in less nerve trauma
- The ultra-thin needle wall provides the same inner diameter as an 18-gauge needle, accommodating a 21-gauge catheter
- The injection set comes attached but is easily removable to allow catheter implantation
- The tri-port catheter has easy-to-read length markings
- The ProLong needle adapter cable allows the Nerve Block Kit to be used with all models of nerve block stimulator
- The re-usable needle adapter cable allows use with the B. Braun stimulator - not needed for other manufacturers’ stimulators
