LMA PainCare™ E System

The LMA PainCare™ E system is an electronic, programmable, reusable, ambulatory infusion pump used to deliver local anesthetics to a post-operative wound site. The device provides an hourly bolus of non-narcotic pain reliever at a rate of 2 mL, 4 mL or 6 mL per hour. By delivering an hourly dose of local medication, the LMA PainCare™ E system allows the patient to stay one step ahead of the pain curve. The control unit is easy to program and easy to monitor. With a single push of a button, clinicians and patients can view the dosage rate, volume of medication delivered and time until the next dose is administered. The LMA PainCare™ E system is comprised of two components, a reusable electronic control unit and a single-patient use medication reservoir. Repeated use of the control unit makes this a very cost-effective device. |

Programmable / Reusable Control Unit
- Delivers an hourly bolus, providing highly effective dispersion of medication
- Programmable to 2 mL, 4 mL or 6 mL per hour dose to meet individual patient needs
- First dose early option assures a clear pathway for medication delivery
- Sensors detect any catheter blockage and alert the patient with audible and visual alarms
- Patient notification is given when treatment has been completed
- Control unit is provided non-sterile and designed for use up to three times
Sterile, Single Patient Use Reservoir
- 200 mL maximum capacity may be used for smaller medication amounts
- Fully encased, constructed of durable plastic
Multi-port Catheter (MP-130)
- Custom multi-port 54” 16-gauge catheter with convenient tear-away sheath is included with each system and replacement kit
- Open-end catheter may be trimmed to reduce the number of ports, accommodating various wound lengths
