LMA NORTH AMERICA EXTENDS SOLE SOURCE NATIONAL SUPPLY WITH U.S. GPO HEALTHTRUST PURCHASING GROUP
Singapore, 15 May 2012 – LMA International NV (“LMA”), the global leader in the marketing and development of the LMA™ range of supraglottic airway management devices, is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, LMA North America, Inc. (“LMA North America”), has been awarded an extension of their Sole Source supply agreement for Laryngeal Mask Airway Products with Healthtrust Purchasing Group (“HPG”), one of the leading group purchasing organizations (“GPO”) in the United States. The HPG agreement represents over 15% of LMA North America’s airway business. The extension is for one year beginning on May 15, 2012. LMA North America has been a contracted vendor with HPG for the past seven years.
LMA North America is the only company in the United States that sells the LMA™ Airway Management System, a complete family of products designed to cover a broad range of critical airway management needs.
